Card Replacement FAQ

To get a new black FOREX Credit Card, you need:
1. Identify yourself with Nordea Finans, either on nordeafinance.se/avtal with mobile BankID or in a physical FOREX store with valid identification. You need to do this no later than 15 December.
2. Not have a credit of over 999 SEK (To withdraw your credit, you can make purchases or withdrawals with your card or go to nordeafinance.se/tillgodo and follow the instructions to get the money to your bank account).
3. Stay on track with payments of your invoices. 

The exchange means that you will receive a new FOREX Credit Card, issued by the new credit card issuer Entercard. You'll be able to use your new card in the same way as your old card, but there are also some new benefits. For example, you will be able to add your card to Apple Pay and Google Pay, you will get a new app (FOREX Credit Card app), improved insurance and much more. What will be new for you with a FOREX Credit Card after the switch is that you get access to new digital solutions, such as Apple Pay and Google Pay, a new app where you can, among other things, see your PIN code, apply to increase your credit limit, See your transactions, create interest-free installments of individual purchases, pay your invoice with Swish and much more.

In addition, we improve your insurance terms, which means that you can get a higher compensation if your flight is delayed and a better deductible. In the future, you will only need to pay for more than 50 per cent of the journey with your card for your supplementary travel insurance to apply, instead of the 75 per cent that applied before.

Your new card will be sent to you in February 2025. 

Your current yellow FOREX Credit Card is valid until March 4, 2025. 

You can start using your new black FOREX Credit Card on March 5, provided that you have answered KYC questions in the Credit Card Portal.

To be able to use your new black FOREX Credit Card, you first need to activate it by answering KYC questions. You can do this from February 4 in the Credit Card Portal, and your new card will be ready to use on March 5.

You need to have identified yourself no later than 2024-12-15.

From 4 February.

Entercard is a new credit card issuer and is obligated under the Act on Measures against Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing to have good knowledge of you as a customer and your business relationship with Entercard.

Your extra card will also be transferred to Entercard, provided that:
1. The extra card holder has identified themselves with mobile BankID on nordeafinance.se/avtal or with valid identification in a physical FOREX store no later than 15 December.
2. The main cardholder has answered the KYC questions in the Credit Card Portal.

The extra card will then be terminated and will not be included in the transfer. If a customer wants an extra card, they need to apply for a new one from March 5 in the Credit Card Portal.

No, the extra card holder does not need to fill in customer due diligence questions. However, the main card holder needs to fill in the questions to activate both the main card and the extra card. 

Yes, you keep the same PIN. If you have forgotten your PIN code, you can see it in the FOREX Credit Card app from March 5th. 

You keep the same annual fee, 225 SEK/year. 

Yes, you keep the same credit limit. 

Because your new card has a different card number, you'll need to add your card again to your subscription services. You can view your card details in the FOREX Credit Card app or on the back of your new black FOREX Credit Card.

If you are not at home and can change your card on 5 March, you can use your old card until 4 March. Then, on March 5, you can add your new card to your digital wallet. You do this directly in the FOREX Credit Card app by clicking on your card and then "Digital wallet". You will also find your card details in the app, and can thus use your new card also for online purchases where Apple Pay or Google Pay are not accepted. 

Your annual fee will charge your card on the same date as it has done before. 

In March, you will receive two different invoices, one from Nordea Finance and one from Entercard. On the one from Nordea Finance , your possible purchases from the previous period will be reported. This invoice is not to be paid, and will have 0 SEK in debt. This will arrive in the same way as your invoice usually arrives. On the one from Entercard there is your possible debt from the previous period as a lump sum. This must be paid according to the instructions on the invoice. Please note that you will receive a new Bankgiro and OCR number.

The invoice from Entercard will arrive as a paper invoice in your mailbox – but don't worry, you will of course not receive a notice fee on the first invoice.
If you have previously received your invoice to Kivra, you will not be able to receive it after the switch. Instead, you can add your invoice as an e-invoice so you avoid the administration fee and can pay the invoice directly in your internet bank. You do this by selecting that you want to add a new e-invoice recipient and then searching for "FOREX Credit Card".

The last invoice from Nordea Finance will arrive in March, this will report your possible purchases from the previous period but it will not have any amount to pay - and you do not have to pay anything on this. 

Your first invoice from Entercard will arrive in March, this will contain your possible last debt from your yellow FOREX Credit Card. This must be paid according to the instructions on the invoice. Please note that you will receive a new OCR and Bankgiro number. 

No, with the change you will receive a new Bankgiro and OCR number. You can see these on your first invoice from Entercard, and in the FOREX Credit Card app. After that, you will always have the same Bankgiro and OCR number. 

After the switch, you will need to register your e-invoice again, as you will get a new credit card issuer. You do this by logging in to your internet bank, choosing that you want to add a new e-invoice recipient and searching for "FOREX Credit Card" (you can do this from 5 March).

If you have had autogiro before the switch, this will be removed. In the future, you will not be able to have autogiro, but you can add your invoice as an e-invoice. You do this by logging in to your internet bank, choosing that you want to add a new e-invoice recipient and searching for "FOREX Credit Card" (you can do this from 5 March). If you have an e-invoice, you can select the automatic payment function in your internet bank. To get help with this, you need to contact your bank. You will also be able to Swish your payment directly in the FOREX Credit Card app. 

To add your card to Apple Pay, log in to the FOREX Credit Card app, click on your card, click on "Digital Wallet" and select add to Apple Pay. Then follow the instructions, done! Your card is now on your phone and ready to be used as a payment method wherever contactless payments are offered.

To add your card to Google Pay, log in to the FOREX Credit Card app, click on your card, click on "Digital Wallet" and select add to Google Pay. Then follow the instructions, done! Your card is now on your phone and ready to be used as a payment method wherever contactless payments are offered. Note that Google Pay doesn't work with iOS. 

You will get a new portal for your card, with a new look and some new features - but it will still be called the Credit Card Portal. You can find it here: https://forex.kreditkortsportalen.se

The current Credit Card Portal will remain in place until March 4, 2025, after which only the new Credit Card Portal will apply. 

The app is called FOREX Credit Card App.

In the app, you will be able to see your card details, add your card to your digital wallet, manage your card (apply for an increased credit limit or extra card, change PIN code, order a new card, etc.), see your transactions and invoices, pay your invoice with Swish and much more.

Your current debt on your instalment will carry over to your new card. The date will change, so that it looks like you have started the instalment on March 5th. You will continue to pay off this according to the original plan. 

You will be able to see your transactions made with your old FOREX Credit Card in the old Credit Card Portal until March 4, 2025. You can also see transactions on your old invoices that you find in Kivra, among e-invoices in your internet bank or if you have saved your paper invoices. Otherwise, you will need to contact Nordea Finance's customer service for information about older transactions.

Trips booked before March 5, 2025 will be covered by the insurance you had at the time of purchase. Terms and conditions of supplementary travel insurance for trips booked for 5 March. 

Damage report for purchases made before March 5.

Trips booked on and after March 5 are covered by your new card's insurance. Supplementary travel insurance for trips booked on and after 5 March.

Then you will receive a new yellow FOREX Credit Card - which you can use until March 4th. You will also receive a new FOREX Credit Card that will be effective on March 5th. This is black.
